Who we are
We are sister-in-laws who share not only a family bond, but a deep passion for serving and supporting others. Our hope is to walk alongside you as you pick up the “quill” and continue writing your story with courage, clarity, and purpose.
Lillian is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Kayla is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A). Together, they founded Willow & Quill Counseling to create a warm, welcoming space for individuals, couples, and families to heal, grow, and strengthen their relationships. Through compassionate, personalized care, they are committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover hope in every chapter.

Many people find themselves trying to hold everything together on the outside while feeling exhausted or disconnected on the inside—but you don’t have to navigate that alone. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness/pain, and meaningful life transitions. I’m passionate about creating a space where all my clients can show up fully as themselves and feel safe, respected, and understood.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and person-centered therapy to help you develop practical coping skills, process trauma, and reconnect with a sense of authenticity and balance.
Life can get messy, and healing doesn’t have to happen alone. I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can talk openly, heal at your own pace, and feel truly seen. If you’re looking for a place to start, this might be it—I would be honored to work with you.

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating complex life transitions, anxiety, depression, medical trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, where I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space for you to feel heard, understood, and empowered, without judgment!
I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I strive to help clients build insight, strengthen connections, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
When appropriate, I also incorporate Art Therapy to support expression and healing in ways that go beyond words.
